COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

LAUREN GERMANY, SHRM-CP, PRC

Lauren Germany has been in the HR field her entire professional career, with emphasis in workforce development, employee relations, talent acquisition, and employment law.  Currently the HR Director for Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists, her diverse background includes oil & energy, municipal government, and healthcare industries.

A GCHRA member since 2011, Lauren’s enthusiasm for HR is reflected in her involvement with the Chapter and community.  She has held various Chapter offices including President, President-Elect, and Secretary; and served as Chair and Co-Chair for the GCHRA Annual Symposium; and she has led the Chapter in various outreach efforts. 

Lauren enjoys speaking at local high schools, colleges, women’s resource centers, and other groups about the HR profession, professional development, career planning, resume writing, and interviewing skills.

In 2018, Lauren served on the MS State Council of SHRM was nominated for the MS State Human Resource Professional of the Year as well as the Spirit of HR award.

Lauren is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with concentration in Human Resource Management, and is a SHRM Certified Professional. 

She is a life-long resident of the beautiful city of Ocean Springs.
