Topic: Management of Workers’ Compensation Claims
Presented by: Daniel M. Baker
Daniel M. Baker is a licensed attorney in the state of Mississippi. His practice is limited
to Workers’ compensation defense where he represents employers, insurers, and third party
administrators in all aspects of Mississippi workers' compensation claims. He has extensive
experience in preparing and submitting Workers’ Compensation Continuing Education courses.
His education includes a B.A. in Political Science, an M.P.P.A. degree from Mississippi State
University, and a law degree from Mississippi College. He retired with the rank of Major from
the Mississippi Army National Guard where he served 20 years as an Armor Officer. He is
married to Kathy Baker, and they have four children. Dan and his family attend First Baptist
Church in Jackson.
