    Please join us April 9th for our next Chapter Meeting. Registration and networking from 7:45am - 8:00am.  A light continental breakfast and juice will be provided. 

    J. Wilson Eaton III, Young Law Group, PLLC  Meeting Topic:  EEOC Update ( CEU Pending)

    TJ. WILSON EATON III, is an attorney with the Young Law Group, PLLC, and practices out of the firm’s Gulf Coast office in downtown Gulfport, Mississippi.  Wilson maintains a national practice in the areas of employment litigation, OSHA matters, management counseling, and employee training. Wilson’s twenty-year practice has special emphasis in workplace safety and OSHA matters. For example, Wilson recently designed and assisted in the implementation of a workplace violence prevention program for a client who operates 43 correctional facilities across the United States.  Wilson also has represented many clients in traditional labor law issues, including representation campaigns, NLRB hearings, and labor arbitration.  He is a member of the Mississippi, the Tennessee, and American Bar Associations. Wilson is also a frequent author on employment matters and regularly speaks at management labor law associations and employer labor law seminars. He received his B.S. (1990), cum laude, from Mississippi State University and his Doctor of Laws degree (1993) from Emory University School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of Barristers.  Wilson and his two children live in Gulfport

    Meeting Topic to include recent cases, administrative agency guidelines, and helpful pointers concerning various employment discrimination laws, including but not limited to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; the Americans with Disabilities Act; the Age Discrimination in Employment Act; and similar statutes.  He will also discuss some recent EEOC guidelines and interpretations of those guidelines by courts.

    Time permitting presentation will include a brief OSHA update.
