Calling all GULF COAST HUMAN RESOURCE MEMBERS!!  

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

United Way is hosting an event hosting the event for the Senior HHS (Health and Human Services) Students on April 26th from 8:30 am – 1 pm

During the event there is an application and interview section. 

United Way needs 25 business and industry professionals to conduct 5 rounds of short face-to-face mock interviews with our students. 

Going through the sessions at this event is designed to give every student participant valuable information, experience and feedback so that they are better prepared for their future endeavors.

We are currently short a few slots, due to cancellations and or people only able to help a portion of the time, so we need help.  Could you possibly spare a few hours to assist us with this important process? I know you participated last year, and we would be thrilled to have you join us again.    

We will have 5 sessions rotating every 25 minutes. The session names are as Follows:

*****"Application and Interview" - Complete an application and mock interview and receive immediate feedback.  Conducted by Multiple Business Professionals

"Financial Literacy" - How to budget, set up a bank account, the importance of saving money ect. -  -

" Be the Best You Can Be In a Big New World” – Work, College and Beyond- Time management, work ethic, organizational skills, philanthropic work , the attributes of a positive attitude, dress for success – Sam Evans, Austin Coomer

Polish your Image -Public Speaking and Body Language - What to Expect- Acquiring and starting a new job, dress for success, present your best self – Angel Helgeson

"Navigating the World of Social Media" - The do's and don'ts - conducted by 10 minutes - GPD Mike Shaw "The DON'TS", 15 minutes City of Gulfport Chief Information Officer - Chris Vignes - "The DOS"
