    We are excited to have from Sun Life Financial - Marjory Robertson, AVP & Senior Counsel and Matthew Ceurvels, Director Product Management Sun Life as they virtually present for our September Chapter Meeting.

    The Learning Objectives will be geared towards understanding legal requirements associated with FMLA, ADA, and other federal, state and local laws relating to leave and accommodations. Also reviewing best practices for managing leaves and accommodations.

    Along with this presentation they will have opportunity to share how Sun Life can help.

    Marjory Robertson is Assistant Vice President & Senior Counsel, advising Sun Life on employment law issues and employee absence and disability management. Marjory also advises Sun Life’s Group Benefits business on legal issues related to the Sun Life Absence & Disability Management Solution offered to employer clients.

    Marjory is a frequent speaker at client, broker and industry events, including Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC) conferences and Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) annual meetings.

    Marjory holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, cum laude, and a juris doctor, magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School.

    Matthew Ceurvels

    Matthew Ceurvels is the Director of Product Management, responsible for the management and development of Sun Life’s Group Benefits product portfolio, including Life, Disability, Absence and Paid Leave.

    Matthew represents Sun Life on the Disability Management Employer Coalition’s (DMEC) Executive Advisory Board, providing strategic guidance and industry expertise to DMEC, assisting them in developing new programs and resources.
