On November 3, 2020, Mississippi voters overwhelmingly voted to legalize the medical use of marijuana. In this webinar, the speaker will discuss how this change will affect employers doing business in Mississippi and elsewhere in the southeast. The speaker will address several issues impacted by this development, including drug testing, enforcing drug-free workplace policies against applicants and employees, reasonable accommodation requests and other disability-related issues, and related medical marijuana laws and court cases from other states that could provide a preview for Mississippi employers in handling this difficult issue.
