GCHRA is excited to have Mike Leleux come and present at our February meeting.

Mike Leleux, Halter Marine

Michael Leleux is the Training/Recruiting Manager at Halter Marine, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Prior to Halter Marine he was Business Development at HUTCO, Inc. He was the sales representative at WESCO and he was the Training and Recruitment Manager of VT Halter Marine.  Leleux has been responsible for training and recruiting within the maritime industry.  Additionally, he serves as the Major Initiative Team Lead for the National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) Infrastructure & Support Team, on the Board of Directors and as Vice President for Gulf States Shipbuilding Consortium (GSSC), on the Board of Directors of the National Maritime Education Council.

​​Leleux Served in the United States Navy for 21 years in Administration, Training, Finance, and Human Resources and 4 years with Trinity Yachts in Training and Recruitment before joining the team at VT Halter Marine.

​He holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Management and Bachelor Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) with additional course work in Training & Development and Administration. Leleux completed his Certified Training Professional Certificate at USM. He also completed NCCER Master Trainer.
