    More about our speaker: 

    Stephanie has a BS in Chemistry from the University of Alabama and has over 20 years of experience working as a consultant with federal and state regulatory compliance.  She has spent many of those years working closely with ERISA attorneys and accountants to gain a mastery of DOL and IRS regulations affecting benefits administration.  Stephanie has been working as a benefits consultant along the Gulf Coast for the past nine years.  She is an innovative cost containment strategist who implements cutting edge methodology to reduce and contain healthcare costs for her clients.  Stephanie makes a practice of maximizing the use of technology in her benefits practice through the utilization of data analytics, HR software, and benefits administration systems.     She has also advised clients, with the support of her ERISA legal team, on complex compliance related issues such as arguing for acceptable non-discrimination practices for FSA/DSAs, delinquent and incorrect filing of 5500s, determinations of controlled group status, corrections of unintentional MEWA status, J226 ACA penalty response letters to the IRS and ACA 1095 filing and coding.
