We are excited to welcome John Sullivan as our featured speaker at this month’s SHRM Gulf Coast Chapter meeting. John brings over two decades of experience in leadership development and workforce training. He began his career at Ingalls Shipbuilding in 2004 as a Management Development Trainer at the Avondale Shipyard, where he focused on cultivating leadership skills across the organization. Today, he plays a vital role in helping create work environments where all Ingalls shipbuilders can build fulfilling careers and thrive.
John recently relocated to Pascagoula in 2024 and has quickly come to admire the Gulf Coast’s vibrant spirit. He especially appreciates the energy, collaboration, and commitment local leaders have poured into making the region a place where individuals and families can flourish. His insights on workforce development and leadership promise to bring real value to our members and their organizations.
When he’s not leading conversations around talent and organizational growth, John enjoys life as the favorite human of two beloved dogs, Raven and Luna—a role that often overshadows his standing with his spouse and two adult children!
