GCHRA Members Nominated for Awards

Two members of the GCHRA Chapter have been nominated for distinguished awards from the MS State Council of SHRM.

Christy Strawbridge (Spherion Staffing) and Lauren Germany (Merchants & Marine Bank) were both nominated as HR Professional of the Year. Lauren was also nominated for the Spirit of HR award.

These awards recognize outstanding service and leadership in the HR profession.

The winners will be announced at the opening session of the 23rd Annual Mississippi HR Conference & Expo. The conference will held at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino April 2nd-4th.

Christy is the Past President of GCHRA, and has been a member since the organization's founding in 1983. Over the years, she has held various other positions on our Board.

Lauren is the current President of GCHRA. She has previously served as Secretary during her 3 year membership.
